WET HANDS MAKE IT EASIER

  • It's hard to create lather with bone dry hands. Wetting your palms before rubbing the cloth between them is key to activating the cleanser

  • To see for yourself how easy it is, after making sure your hands are damp, grab a cloth from its sanitary container. You'll notice that even the tiniest bit of water on your fingertips will begin to activate cleanser as you see & feel the tiny bubbles forming.

  • Damp hands should actually be the standard if you're following the number 1 skincare rule & using freshly washed hands to cleanse, this best practice helps cut back on bacteria transfer from hands to face.

BLOW out Cleasner & Control the water flow

  • Remember, our cleansing routine with the CLEER SKIN CLOTH™ means we're conservation queen's and king's.....we waste less water by using a moderate steady stream!

  • ** Beginner Tip: ** If you want to get the most foam from your cloth QUICKLY simply add a small amount of water and blow out foam cleanser with your mouth. There are several video examples on our social media!

  • Keep cloth folded and add a small amount of water. Sandwich the cloth between hands and rub to release cleanser. Add more water if necessary. When your lather begins forming DO NOT continue to soak in water or you will wash away cleanser.

  • Do NOT blast your water from the faucet full speed. Cup the cloth in your palm & hold briefly under running water. You'll see the bubbles dancing as the cleanser activates

  • Heavily saturating the cloth risks washing away the cleanser. Add your water bit by by to build the lather up to your desired cleanser consistency

You control the cleanser

  • Ultimately you're in control of the cleansing experience. Of course there's a learning curve with any new product but remember:

  • More water = less cleanser. Sometimes you may simply need a thinner consistency to remove makeup, freshen up after the gym, or quickly clean up a stain or skin scrape

  • Less water = more lather. Cleansing has never been easier. Just build up your lather and actually wash your face. Rinse your cloth and remove the product + all of the dirt and grime of the day. CLEER SKIN CLOTH™ is the ONE & ONLY biodegradable cloth infused with an effective skin cleansing formula suitable for daily use on all skin types. Created by our founder who is not only an esthetician, but a long time sufferer of eczema, adult acne, & sensitive skin, a woman of color, and a mom to a child with special needs.

The CLEER SKIN CLOTH™ was brought to life after our founder suffered a pretty intense episode of impetigo brought on by using a seemingly clean washcloth from a medical facility she visited to treat the skin condition. This traumatic experience also coincided with the struggle to find a user-friendly skincare routine for her teenage child with special needs.  Unable to find a suitable sanitary single-use cleansing solution, she set out to create her own.

The comparable products available were full of chemicals with the first ingredient usually being petrolatum (mineral oil) followed by many other harsh and unnecessary inclusions like parabens, drying alcohols, and sinus irritating fragrances, & other tongue twisting chemicals. Not to mention the products were either made of thin and flimsy fibers or simply an oversized, single-use dry paper towel masquerading as a skin care product.

It is double sided to provide a light exfoliation and gentle cleanse all in one. It's not just a paper face towel, its actually INFUSED WITH CLEANSER that can create a light or heavy lather for simple makeup removal or a thorough face wash!

CLEER SKIN CLOTH™ contains simple ingredients found in most gentle cleansers along with light moisturizers like aloe & lanolin, and an essence which contains botanical extracts, lipids, and vitamins to nourish the skin. Our products will always contain straightforward ingredients that are effective and proven in the skincare market and quite simply do what they say that they do. The soft skin-friendly material used to make your CLEER SKIN CLOTH™ is sourced from the world's largest producer of sustainably manufactured natural viscose fiber.

These fibers are made of renewable plant sources (i.e. eucalyptus, bamboo, wood pulp ). Sustainable management and production practices reduce the carbon footprint of this material as well. Our 100% biodegradable cloth is more gentle than cotton and other premium materials, it's more absorbent and durable as well. We've designed our cloth to be smooth on one side and to have a lightly exfoliating raised pearl design on the other side so you can get the most out of it as your cleansing cloth and MORE!

Simply put, CLEER SKIN CLOTH™ is biodegradable and compostable. There are no added dyes, artificial fragrance or bleach, and the natural viscose fiber will break down within weeks after being disposed so you never even need to consider flushing them!

However if you need more persuading read on to find out why flushing pretty much any cloth or wipe product, no matter how thin or thick is bad for the environment.

Did you know that even products that say "flushable" on the label should actually NEVER be flushed down the toilet? 😦 We know, VERY concerning!

The term "flushable" generally means that it will clear your toilet bowl. It does not mean it will definitely clear your pipes or break down in the sewer system or at a wastewater treatment plant. Waterwaste facilities worldwide have found a significant increase of wipes in their sewer pipes and at their plants.

Truly flushable items are ones that: break into small pieces quickly, are not buoyant, and only contain materials which breakdown quickly in water. This mainly describes most human waste or other organic matter.

So even though CLEER SKIN CLOTH™ is made to be gentle on the skin and the planet, we encourage you to not test its limits on your plumbing and pipes, please!

CLEER SKIN CLOTH™ is a dual cleansing champion by having the potential to be used as a makeup remover by saturating with water for a thinner cleanser consistency or a full on facial cleanser by rubbing out a rich foaming lather with less water.

  • After cleansing your face with the infused foaming lather, rinse your cloth and completely remove residue

* a note regrading hard water *

Should you find yourself exerting more effort to create the thick foaming lather after releasing the cleanser inside of your CLEER SKIN CLOTH™ the cause is most likely hard water. This type of water is high in mineral content like calcium, magnesium carbonates, bicarbonates, and sulphates and occurs when water percolates through mineral deposits, increasing its mineral content and causing......yup, HARD WATER!

Many households suffer with hard water, and if you are experiencing this issue it may be your sign to install a water softener OR water filter on your faucet.

This won't just help with creating the desired cleansing lather of your CLEER SKIN CLOTH™, it will also help with the general health and vibrancy of your HAIR & SKIN. Hard water can be filled with minerals that are potentially good for drinking, however they are almost always a detriment to the hair & skin.

The BEST WAY TO RELEASE YOUR CLEANSER IF YOU HAVE HARD WATER :

  • 💧 Let your water run for 30-60 seconds before using your cloth to help clear most of the sediment especially first thing in the morning or after water has not been turned on for a while

  • 💧 Use warm water to activate your cleanser. Cold water tends to not dissolve the minerals as efficiently as warm to hot water, so allow your water to warm up before cleansing your face

  • 💧 Be sure to follow the less water = more lather rule from the YOU CONTROL THE CLEANSER section in the tips above. Gradually add water until you've reached your desired cleansing foam consistency while simultaneously allowing the water to run a bit to clear the microscopic mineral content lurking in your hard water
