How to Measure Your Aerator

Measuring your faucet aerator ensures you choose the right adaptor (or confirm you don’t need one at all). Use a simple ruler or caliper to measure in millimeters:

✔️ Female-threaded faucets (internal threads) —

Measure straight across the inside of the spout opening at the threads in millimeters.

✔️ Male-threaded faucets (external threads) —

Measure straight across the entire spout from outer edge to outer edge in millimeters.

💡 Tip: Most faucet sizes range from 16mm to 28mm.

An M22 male aerator (~21.5–22mm) connects directly to the HydraPure 360™ WITHOUT an adaptor.

What Type of Aerator Do You Have?

The HydraPure 360™ is designed for faucets with a removable round aerator — whether it’s:

✔️ Internal (female)

✔️ External (male)

✔️ Recessed

If your faucet has 22 mm external (male) threading, good news — the HydraPure 360™ will screw on directly without needing an adaptor.
This is the most common size found in many modern homes and apartments.

💡 If your aerator is a different size than those shown above or doesn’t match one of the included standard attachments, you’ll likely need one of the adaptors in our Uncommon Fit Kit™ for a secure fit.

Remember, if your aerator is recessed or stuck, our Grip & Twist™ Universal Aerator Wrench can help remove it safely with out scratching your hardware.

Types of Faucets That Will NOT Fit the HydraPure 360™

The HydraPure 360™ is designed for most standard faucets, but there are a few styles it will not fit without extensive modification:

✔️ Pull-out or pull-down spray faucets (integrated sprayer hoses)

✔️Faucets without removable aerators

✔️ Waterfall-style faucets (open spout design)

✔️ Non-standard custom or proprietary aerator connections

💡 Tip: If you’re unsure, check for a removable round aerator — if it can’t be unscrewed or measured, it’s likely not compatible.
